Sporky.net is the website of Mathew and Rebecca. Mathew is currently working for a 9 to 5 in Southern Vermont; Rebecca lives in Western Montana and currently works for The Man. She would like to point out at this time that she has minimal input on the site's layout, so all blame should be directed towards Matt.
Optimum Viewing...
This site is best viewed at any resolution. Use any browser version 4.0 or later (i.e. anything released after 1999) or simply just stop using the internet. Honestly, if you're still using something like Netscape 2.9 then you're just being a menace to web designers everywhere. XML2.0 feed can be found here, XML1.0 is here. I have an RSD feed as well which can be found here. No, I do not know the difference between the three. If you have problem reading the site in a news reader I suppose I could sort it out, but honestly I don't use the things myself.
Site History
Sporky.net has been around, in one form or another, since early 1997. It isn't much to look at but it gives Matt something to do. For those of you keeping tabs at home, this site has been hosted on free servers since the beginning (then hosted at Crosswinds up until about two years ago when Matt decided, rather foolishly, that he could afford to pay for hosting; this lasted for about two months when he decided food was more important than a host for this site. And so Sporky.net fell into disrepair for exactly 11 months, where it was basically a static shell of a frontpage linking to several other sites. Then, lo!, another host was found (the semi-wonderful, semi-pain in the ass DigitalRice) and so the domain was transferred. Around this time Matt found that Sporky.com was up for sale after three years of inactivity and so he purchased it and directed it to Sporky.net. Now hosting has been moved to Bloghosts.com for a fantastic yearly rate. I can't lay enough praise upon the place. No changes for the site are currently planned though the layout is often changed at the drop of a hat.
